When will the Pro version be available?

What's included in the free version?

The free version includes full AI chat integration with data querying, analysis capabilities, and the ability to turn FileMaker scripts into AI tools. You can distribute it in any demo or solution files, and it's free to use up to five deployments per license. Perfect for individual developers and small projects to get started with AI in FileMaker.

What counts as a deployment?

A deployment is a unique combination of a FileMaker file and server. With 5 deployments per license, you could run the same file on 5 different servers, or 5 different files on one server, or any combination. For example, with production, staging, and development servers, you can deploy one file across all three plus have two additional deployments available. When opening a file in FileMaker Pro (desktop), it counts as a server using your device's persistent ID.

Can I distribute ProofChat with my solutions?

Yes, you can include ProofChat in any files or solutions you distribute, but you cannot include your license. End users must obtain their own ProofChat license - either free (for basic features) or Pro (for branding removal and advanced features). If you want to resell solutions where end users don't need to license ProofChat themselves, you'll need an Enterprise license with reseller agreement.

How do FileMaker scripts become AI tools?

AI tools transform probabilistic chat responses into deterministic database actions. Any FileMaker script can become an AI tool, giving the chat access to real data and actions from your database. This constrains AI responses to actual facts rather than hallucinations, making ProofChat incredibly powerful for building reliable AI-powered FileMaker applications.

What does removing Proof+Geist branding include?

The free version includes the ProofChat logo in the upper left corner, links to Proof+Geist, and ads for our automatic hosting platform (with possible future ads). Pro licenses remove all Proof+Geist branding, logos, links, and advertisements, giving you a clean interface for your solutions.
